I have tried repairing, uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting, scanning, and just about everything else I can think of. I'm not experiencing this issue with any other program on my computer and searching has thus far provided no solution.

And this works for the profile you install revo on correct?????

Are you following the steps as listed?!

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

You run Revo first, under your normal account, and then create the new account.

When you say disc do you mean like your hard disk? Or the install disc?

If you are asking about Jim's post (Post #8), he is suggesting copying the contents of the DVD disc, to your hard drive. Since reading comprehension for you is a little bit lacking, ask a good friend to come over to help you.

And, pay no attention to MisterSniffles33's post. It has no relevance to the situation.

i need a product key so i can install please someone help it is on the back of you box or on the back of package that your disc comes in please give me a code

Don't ask people to break the rules regarding product keys, which are there to prevent theft.

If you're having a problen installing, address that problem instead.

Do all of the steps Jim listed in the order he listed them in. Notice that you run the Revo uninstaller before creating the new account.

You create the new account in Windows. (In Windows 7: Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Manage Accounts.)

And then you log in using the new account before you install Roxio. Based on that the new account is for your Roxio installation.

I see you have tried a lot of things... At this point I would suggest you try this.

(Add Nothing! - Skip Nothing!)

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Create a New User Account with Administrator Privileges.

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

Reboot and log on to that new account.

Copy your entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

In that new folder, right click on Setup.exe and select Properties.

Under the Compatibility tab, make sure
nothing
is checked!

Right click Setup.exe and select Open.

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

Use the Default Locations!

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
