markjames1 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2006 Hi All, I am trying to uninstall creator 5 and I get this message: error 1926 could not set file security for C:\config.msi\. error 5 verify that you jave sufficient priveledges to modify the security permissions for this file. Brendon 204 Report post Posted January 19, 2006 Hi Mark, Perhaps that's one of the reasons Easy CD Creator is NOT supported by Roxio in a server environment. I don't know. If you can't uninstall it the regular way the Roxio brute-force uninstaller, Roxizap, should do it for you. Thanks Brendon, It seems the problem may be a wider one - I am trying to install logmein on the box and I get the same message, the truble is that I have only just taken over this server so I don't know whats gone before.
