Pal-N Vhs Problem

nacho_py

Question

Hello everyone. After a whole night of trying to fix this problem I've come here hoping for an answer.

I have some PAL-N VHS tapes that I would like to record with this software, but the USB dongle doesn't seems to work correctly with my VHS. Is there anything I can do?

I'll attach a couple of pictures showing the problem. The video basically just circles between those.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer

The USB Capture Device and you PC should capture what the VCR outputs.

I think the problem is the VCR output?

When you hook it up to a TV does it work fine?

Yeah, everything works as it should connected to the TV with the RCA cable. I suppose the problem is that the USB Capture Device is set to NTSC, but even if that is the problem, I haven't found any way to change it manually

The device isn't set to Anything...

It is the software that adapts the converted digital signal.

You are using RCA cables from a SCART adapter or directly from the VHS?

Can you try S-Video instead?

Can you try it with another device - DVD or BD Pllayer, any device with RCA output?
