Roxio Game Capture - Help - Not Working!

Hello i really need some help here. I have a Roxio Game Capture that doesn't seem to be working. I have tried uninstalling it, then re-installing it. I have tried to repair the device, and i have even tried the update on the Roxio web page. Nothing seems to work. If you have any ideas or things i could try PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know, I'm desperate to get this thing working again. Thanks and BTW I have a window 7- 64 bit computer

You are allowing it to install on C:\ and not some far off external drive?

 

I have no idea but at this point I would say you should Format C:\ and start from scratch :huh: Yes I do know what a pain that can be...

 

Actually, loan it to a friend and let them install it on their PC to see what happens :glare:

2 issues...

 

It is not being recognized properly in the Device Manager.

 

It reports No Signal but that may be OK after the first one is fixed.

 

Best bet a this point is to follow these steps:

 

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

 

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

 

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

 

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
