Recording From Monitor

I recently connected my Xbox 360 to my PC monitor with a HDMi cable but I have no idea if I can still record gameplay using my Roxio Standard Edition Capture Card. Can any of you tell me if it is possible to record off my monitor with the Standard Edition roxio?

The RGC Device only accepts Component input.

 

'I' have never seen a monitor that output any signal.

 

Likewise, any component to hdmi converter will have to have external power to work.
