Dvd Codecs In Creator 9.0 De

Question

I had to reinstall Vista on my Dell laptop and after getting the 100's of updates from Microsoft

today I tried to use the DVD only to get a message in media player 11 that says, "can't

play DVD must have codecs."

To which I thought maybe that's why I have this Roxio Creator 9.0 DE disc = BUT it doesn't

look like that provides codecs for it.

So how do you un-install this completely? Thanks.

Did it ever work with Vista? The DE means it is a Dell edition of the software, and I don't know if it was compatible with Vista. The retail version of EMC 9 did not work with Vista, until the 9.1 patch came out.
