Create Music Disc - Split From Unrelated, Hijacked Thread

StarTrek1701

Question

Hello. I'm new to this site. I'm having a similar problem. Apparently, there are three ways to create a playlist: using BURN MP3 CDs, BURN AUDIO CDs, and CREATE MUSIC DISC PROJECT. I like using CMDP because of the ability to edit. My original audio files are .wav. I want to save the .wav files into playlists. Then, combine two or more lists and convert them to mp3 and form a new playlist for burning and other future use. None of these seem to be compatible with each other so this can be done. Am I missing something?

Why are you making the playlist via wav files and then converting later? Why combine playlists rather than make a big one or several smaller ones. You told us what you want to do but not why. Part of the solution may be tied to the why. Wouldn't it be easier to use several playlists so you could select the music you want?

Have you gone to the options and selected the right ones?

You cannot save wav files to a playlist.A playlist is a function of an MP3.The only time you get a choice of playlists is if you choose MP3/WMA disc in CMDP.

You can add the wav files to a MP3 project, have them converted to MP3 and choose a playlist format when you burn but you cannot add wav files to a playlist per se.
