Red "capture Device Removed".

faceripper v2

Question

I've used my Roxio gamecap HD pro for some time now and rarely had any issues with it. Recently I went to turn it on and was met with a red "No signal" immediately followed by a Red "capture device removed" message.

I use HDMI input on an xbox 360 and the xbox works fine while I have the capture card plugged in.

Any suggestions?

Try this version of Jim_Hardings uninstall/re-install

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio.

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot

Fairly certain I did all the steps correctly. Still same issue.
