Monitor Doesn't Appear Anything?

Rush

Question

My Roxio Gamecap HD Pro will not give signal to anything. I am using one monitor for both my PC and Xbox, I can easily switch between the two with a button.

I am using VGA for my monitor>PC and HDMI for the Roxio product.

PLEASE NOTE THIS: THE HDMI LIGHT IS NOT LIGHTING UP ON THE ROXIO PRODUCT.

Xbox what?

Does it display on the Monitor OK when you go Xbox >> HDMI >> Monitor?

If, 'yes' then one solution would be an HDMI Splitter after the Xbox so you get one HDMI to the RGC and another directly to your Monitor ;)

But tell us more and we might see if there is another way...

Xbox One. everything works fine without the Roxio device. I'm not paying any more for this product than I have already.

Another thing for you to make sure of is that you select a specific output from the XBox. Manually set it to HDMI, and select a specific format, such as 1080i, 60fps. If you have 1080p, 60fps selected, that may be the problem as the Game Capture device doesn't handle higher than 1080p, 30fps, or 1080i, 60fps. Auto-Select on the XBox does not work well when connected to the RGC unit.
