Ntsc, Pal Or "both"

Axel

Question

I'd like to have some reassurance that if I use the "Both" format version, my DVDs will play in Europe and the US. Does anyone have experience with using the "Both" stetting and having them work at either location? I have no way of testing "Both" generated DVDs, but I have sent PAL DVDs to Europe and they worked. I would just hate to go through all that work and have it not work when they get to Europe. Can someone shed some light on this?

Both???

Where do you see that?

When you are in MyDVD the choice is one or the other, not Both!

Of course the PAL must go to countries that use that format but the NTSC can go to either, as most PAL Players can play both but not the other way around ;)

The "Both" setting has nothing to do with creating the DVD but applies to the selection of options available when creating the video file. Some options are only available for NTSC, some only for PAL, "Both" will show options for NTSC and PAL
