Certificate File Is Missing Or Corrupted

When I install the Roxio Game Capture Standard Edition disk on to my computer, it tells me to enter a code on the sleeve where my disk was. I enter the code and it accepts it, but when it's done downloading I try to open the program and it says that the certificate file is missing or corrupted.

I also tried to use my capture card to stream my Xbox 360 using a program called OBS. When I select the Roxio Game Capture, it tells me something about a Sonic Decoder Pack.

If you could help me get my capture card working, I wouldn't be able to thank you enough.

This type of error requires a clean up and clean install...

Follow these step one by one ;)

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the
Uninstaller. Then run it in
Moderate Mode
to remove any traces of Roxio.

Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When the Install completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
