Jim_Hardin
Will any Memorex disks work? ...what does that question have to do with a 3 month old Topic that was never resolved? Memorex is considered in to bottom 10 of media. I use some for cheap testing, burn to duplicate problems and dropped in the trash afterwards. daveweb
I just finished a DVD project. My authoring program produced an ISO file so I could make several DVDs. I found that with a simple freebe burner, I could easily make all 5 final DVDs. With Roxio EZ DVD Creator, I wasted 6 disks that my Sony DVD player Would not load. Using -R 4.7G Disks. The bad -produced by Roxio- DVDs all look normal with the proper Video_TS folder and compare exactly with the good disks on a superficial level. How can I read the secret data on the bad DVDs that cause them to NOT Play? Can that data be changed? If a simple free program can burn ISO files easily, why not Roxio???? Oracle?? thanks
daveweb
gosh, thanks for your help. What more would you need to know to provide more help? d
Jim_Hardin
Start with telling us WHICH Roxio program you are using... Then the steps from start to unusable DVD. Any error messages along the way? Size and brand of the DVD Media (store brand and Memorex should always be avoided!) The problem is most likely in the fine details and you are using a very broad brush to describe it
