louis2510 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 I have a new "Sony" DVD RW DRU810A Burner I do have connection: will play audio - open & close tray door When I try to burn a slide show message read" Incompatible Meda Cd Meda project meda :DVD-R The meda I am trying to use is "Maxell DVD-R" Any idea what my problem is? tbrewst Posted January 20, 2006 Report Share Posted January 20, 2006 The message you got is "Incompatible Media CD media project"?If it was,why are you trying to use a DVD?If it's a slide show,when you hit burn,in the top left it says disc format,what did you put there?Then at the bottom it says disc type.The disc format and disc type have to match.If you put VCD or SVCD you need to use a CD not a DVD. Thank you for your responce. What I am trying to do is burn a disc that will play my vacation picture on my TV.I have music that plays in the background as the slide shows progress. I wanted to slip the disc in my DVD player that is connected to the TV, press play and it would show the slide show with music. How would you go about this? Is it possable?
