Mount Disk Image Not Working

When I burn to a disk image, a file is created with the .toast file type.

 

I believe I should be able to use the Mount Disk Image tool under the utilities menu. After selecting the .toast file, it does nothing further - no disc icon appears on the desktop.

 

I have an iMac with Yosemite 10.10.3

 

Any similar experiences out there?

Hold the control key down when clicking on the .toast file in the Finder and choose Mount It from the contextual menu. You may need to go to the second page of that menu.
