gwagnerx
I try to put text on the picture in German. The use of special characters like Ä, Ö, Ü does not work, I have to use AE, OE, UE instead which is very irritating in writing and reading. I have not found an option to change the character set. Is there any help??
gwagnerx
Actually the input is not the problem. When you enter the characters it looks ok, but if you store and reload the show (in Photoshow) it turns out that the characters entered are not replayed correctly as the replay seems to use the English character set only and some symbol characters appear instead of ÖÄÜöäü. Is there any other suggestion?
bimicher
What program are you using? You posted in the Creator NXT 3 forum but now state you are using PhotoShow.
gwagnerx
Sorry for confusion. I use both. Creator NXT 3 is ok, but the Roxio PhotoShow has the problem.
bimicher
So, should this topic be moved to the PhotoShow forums?I have pretty well given up on Roxio PhotoSHow since Corel/Roxio no longer supports it and users have reported that their onsite photoshows have disappeared. bimicher
You can use the Character Map to copy and paste special characters into the text string. Another option is to determine the character code for the special character and then type Alt+code into the text. For example for "Ä" you would type Shift/Alt+0196
gwagnerx
Thanks for the suggestion. But this is rather cumbersome for fluent text writing. I thought more about multi language support by the product?
