Blue Screen...game Cap Software, Computer, And Xbox!

MaydayHeyday

Question

So I have had my Roxio game capture hd pro for about twelve days now. The warranty has expire or something, so I cannot get it fixed. In short, everything turns blue. In long, when my Roxio game cap is hooked up, my tv screen is just a blue screen. No text or anything, and it won't start working again unless I unplug the game cap, or shut the program off. It does the same for xsplit as well! It also shows the screen as blue on the recording software. Another final problem, well, the Roxio recording software blue screens my computer. If anyone can help, I need it very badly. I expected it to be better than this. I am very disappointed in Roxio this time.

Too vague to suggest much

I would start with a proper repair - (Add Nothing! - Skip Nothing!)

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

You have to run the Repair (and take better care of important things like discs)

Check your downloads for the SP2.0 update. If you have it or can download it from the site, it will serve as a disc. (good idea is to burn a copy as it will not always be here...)

Just so you know, the Red 'No Signal' means that the device/software is not receiving a valid signal! The repair fixes the software ;)
