Reinstalling Roxio Creator 2011

Due to corrupted files i had to uninstall roxio 2011 and reinstall. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I heard on one post that it might be because it is already registered. If this is so, how can I unregister roxio 2011 so that i can reinstall it. When i try to reinstall it keeps interupting installation. I'm not even sure where to find the log files to copy with this post, if anyone has any information it would be appreciated.
