JeanG
The program is installed and seemingly working perfectly, except there is no sound when in try to playback or copy to another folder. I am using a casssette player with a built-in usb port. Note that i did get (lousy) audio before I disabled the mic. the capture from is the usb port realtech. I am not tech-savy and not sure what to try next. Thanks, JeanG
cdanteek
The Roxio Software your using is Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus? Volume mixer shows the Roxio Software and it's not muted?
JeanG
still experimenting. discovered that when the usb-port cable from the cassette deck is plugged into the computer-no music anywhere(Roxio, I-tunes, windows media). unplug and music flows. But there is a consistent sound no matter what tape and remains after clean-up. I am using the cassette-supplied cable (which is nice and long) but must I switch to yours (inconveniently short)? which makes no real sense to me. Let the good times roll, aargh Thanks JeanG

Thanks JeanG That statement makes no sense to me Do you mean you use a long RCA cable to the device then a short USB cable from there to your PC? Try a completely different Source, a phone or mp3 player ANYTHING else that you can hook up to the Roxio USB Capture Device. Curious, it this the Roxio Easy LP to MP3 product??? JeanG
Hi Long delay to get to this post and will be out of town for a few days. The cassette deck is a recently purchased Pyle double deck with usb port. The recording went much better when I switched the hook-up to using the cable supplied with the software Easy VHS to DVD Plus instead of the cable that came with the deck. Go figure.. Now my problem is too low a volume with some recordings but I will work on that. Hopefully soon before the 14 day tech support is over. Thank you for your help. ogdens
Does that Pyle have a model number?.
d_deweywright
Doing a quick search, I'd hazard a guess it might be the PT-659du. As for his volume issue, looking at the reviews on Amazon, apparently there's a gain knob on the back of the cassette deck, which may do what he wants.
