Vhs2Dvd Problem Split From Wrong Forum

Same thing here!!!!!! Purchased Easy VHS to DVD, worked fine for 3 days. Opened it today and it totally locked up my computer. Had to kill power to get it to rebook. Tried a second time with same results. Did a repair, now when I try to open, I get a message says it encountered a problem and needs to shut down:

Uninstalled and reinstalled. Same results, when I try to open it I get a message Roxio has stopped working, want to look on the internet for a solution or close the program. Nothing works, I try to contact support and it says I need a support code - one of which comes free with the registration of the software. I reregister it and get a message saying it is already registered. How do I get the d..n support code?

Lets' try doing a more extensive repair.

(Add Nothing! - Skip Nothing!)

Unplug your Roxio Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio.

Reboot

Turn OFF any A/V & Firewall.

Insert your disc and start the install

Allow it to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio not Windows)

Use the Default Locations!

When the Install completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

With a little luck, that will get you going

So I followed your instructions - downloaded the installer, restarted, turned off AV and Firewall, reinstalled, same results - when I start Roxio, get a message saying Roxio has encountered a problem and has to shut down.

This error :" IOIBMURHYNRXKW0ZXKYRVFN0BOYYUFOW" indicates that your .net framework may be corrupted. Try reinstalling it and perhaps even an uninstall and reinstall. Google for Microsoft ,net framework.

No good - uninstalled Roxio, uninstalled >net frameworks 4.5, reinstalled, reinstalled Roxio - same results. Here is the message I get:

You can get support but you have to pay for it. Roxio is owned by Corel so blame them.

Try installing it on another computer (friend/neighbor/co/worker).
