Brendon
Hi Michelle, I don't have a clue what might or might not be compatible with Windows 10, I'm sorry. Regards, Brendon
New Zealand user
Hello BrendanCan you remember when you did those tests for me which version of roxio stopped working with the label crater where it had the Grade out from what I'm able to see NX T 2 may be supported for Windows 8 any way and I'm guessing it will be available for windows 10 as a patch do you know if I am correct and if so we can get that version I appreciate your help Michelle

We are just users of Roxio software, like you, and have no clue what they are going to do, nor can we provide you with any upcoming version. d_deweywright
The other thing I would offer is that NXT 2 is not the latest version, NXT 3 is, currently. And typically, if a new version of Windows breaks a current version of Creator, it depends on where in the release cycle Roxio is, but typically, they release a new version for purchase/upgrade, not an "update patch". New Zealand user
Hello BrendanLooking back at the date of purchase I would say early May you help me to work out the problem I know we were sending emails back and forward directly you should have worked forward from my version rather than back it is so hard to find the email address for roxio I've been looking for it for a couple of days I would be quite happy purchasing an older version if that did not have the fault that the latest version had for my purpose which is a course using the label crater without having the tech grade out which printed the outline including the outline for the spine of a DVD if anyone else out there can help with this problem I would appreciate it from what I can see the roxio software is the only software which I am using which is not Windows 10 compatible as I have been trying this out over the last week sorry for all the time Michelle
Brendon
Michelle, Sorry, I've been tied up with a friend's death. I'm here now. I'm having difficulty working out just what you want to know this time. I checked back on the tests I did for you on on Roxio Label Creator on 02 May. Here are the results again. Your original version was Creator 2010, which let you decide whether or not to print the case outlines. Creator 2011 also behaved properly, like Creator 2010. Creator 2012 and newer versions [NXT, NXT 2, and NXT 3] when run under windows 7 all grey out the 'Print DVD Case Outline' control, leaving the box ticked and forcing you to print the outlines, if the background is any colour but white. (see below) However, when I ran NXT 3 under Windows XP it greyed out the control but left the box un-ticked, so you could never print the outlines. To summarize, -Only Creator 2010 and 2011 work properly for you. -Creator 2012 and all the Creator NXT versions go faulty when you use a coloured background. -Creator NXT 3 locks outlines on under Windows 7, and off under Windows XP. [i suspect all the NXT versions behave the same, but I haven't had time to test] I don't expect Roxio will put out a patch for Windows 10, but they should make sure that Creator NXT 4 is Win 10 compatible. I don't expect they will fix this fault in Roxio Label Creator. Regards, Brendon
New Zealand user
Thank you BrendanI think I have tracked down a way of contacting roxio to ask them if there is any update of any other program which would run without this problem I've also notified then there was a problem with the versions after 2010 and 2011 I appreciate your time and effort now just have to wait and see what roxio says and if there is a way around this because all I really want to be able to use as the Label Creator. The rest of the program doesn't get used by me except the duplication of DVDs but I can find another program to do thatThank you again for all your time and as I said I have sent information through to roxio about this problem hopefully they will work out what's wrong and rewrite the program to make it work I've also asked them if this latest version they have will be Windows 10 compatible as well as Windows 8.1 thank you again Michelle
