Worked Fine For 3 Days, Now Won't Open!


My VHS to DVD worked fine for 3 days. Tried to open it Friday and I get a message saying it encountered a problem. Gives you a choice between closing or using the web to find a solution. Either one just closes the program. What's up?

Also, support says I have 1 free support, enter support code, but doesn't tell you how to get a code other than to register. I registered, no code!

Do a proper repair and let's see what it does for you...

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your Roxio Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows), assuming it asks.

When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.
