Question

I was making a little 15 second video for Instagram, I had everything correct, in the videowave editing software the beat drop was on point and all, but after I upload the video and look at it the beat drop is near a half second late! Could someone please help me?

Since it was correct in the video editing software, why don't you look at the upload process?

I figured out how to use dxdiag, but I still don't know what I'm suppose to do when I know my information about my computer. I don't know what specs I'm suppose to be comparing it to or if it's how i'm outputting the video.

Just post the text file here according to the instruction so we can look at your computer.

 

What about the rest of the questions. What Roxio product are you using - VideoWave has been in several versions and may have different options. What does it say on the box or what did you order? PC or MAC?

Please let me know what part of creating the text file and then posting (attaching) the text file that you don't quite understand so I can make changes in the instructions to make it more understandable.

 

Here is a list of programs that Roxio sells - there is no HD Pro for PC. Are you talking about the GAME Capture program? One of these?

 

Please take your time and answer completely and correctly, if not, there will be several frustrated people and you may not get any kind of good answer. You can always contact tech support and pay them to ask the same questions.

 

Based on what you supplied you have a Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz (turbo if nothing else is running and there is no other stress on the CPU). The minimum is Core 2 Duo @ 1.8G (or better). so you could have issues with being under the minimum. Also your driver for the GPU (graphics) is probably out of date. Check for a new driver and install it. Get help if you need to.

 

If you do have the gaming program, the thread will be moved to the proper part of these forums and someone else will be happy to help. I don't answer questions in those forums because mu frustration level is not what it used to be. There are many other who would be happy to help.

Hi, I'm trying to create a first person shooting videogame little cool clip that involves some background music. Whats suppose to happen is that when my character gets the first kill the beat is suppose to drop in the video, which is working perfect, until I render it. Once I render the video the beat drop is nearly a half second late, but when I compare the 2(The one being edited in videowave and the finished rendered one) the start and end of the music are on point. I've look everywhere I could, but still couldn't figure out the problem. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

Never mind. A really nice person on youtube, Dontmakemeeatyou, told me how to fix this problem. He basically explained how the Roxio Videowave editing software is kinda weird when you split mp3 files and told me to take the music and cut it in audacity then add it in. If any of you are having audio render delay try just taking the audio in audacity and cutting it there then saving it and putting it into the video. NOTE: You must export the file not save, if you save the file it will only work for Audacity so when you click 'File' go down pass save or save as and click 'Export Audio' then save it to your desktop or certain folder then click OK. I hope this forum is helpful.

Edit: Posts #10 and #11 were a separate topic Atlas started after this one so I merged them into this original. I had not seen them before I 'answered' :wacko:

 

Maybe not the cause but I note that the CPU is below spec... Atlas has a 1.7 GHz whereas a 1.8 GHz (2.0 for AMD) is required. ~ "turbo" only counts in marketing, not the real world ;)

 

But losing sync has always been a rendering issue. Try putting multiple Splits in your clip in VideoWave before you do your Export. Try splitting it in 3 or 4 segments and see if that keeps it up...

 

Additionally, while Audacity is a good program, it is not needed in this instance. Another factor in VideoWave is WHERE you place the audio! If you put it on a FX or Music Track do so on this in the Internal Tracks of clip rather than the Overlay Tracks...

 

As in most cases, Knowing how to use the program negates finding outside solutions :lol:
