Burning A Dvd & "ac3" Audio Rejected

ProVoice

Question

I've created an audiobook with pictures from the book. It was rendered as an mpeg2 file and I'm working on a Windows 7 machine. I wanted to burn the mpeg2 video onto a DVD, so I bought Roxio. Now I'm getting an error message that says "AC3 audio is unsupported in this version and will be replaced by silence. I don't even know what AC3 audio is. What do I need to do? thanks.

AC3 is a popular compressor used in soundtracks of videos.

Easy CD & DVD Burning has been for some reason deliberately crippled to prevent the use of this and several others of the most popular video and audio compressors.

If you have videos using the disabled compression you should return this product for a refund (if you bought it directly from Roxio) and buy a full version which isn't disabled.

Regards,

Brendon
