Mydvd 8

Question

When using MyDvD 8 (from Easy Media Creator 8) and the supplied menu styles, I am unable to view the text I enter into the menu boxes. I am able to see what I typed in the tree view, but nothing in the actual boxes. If I go to the preview tab, same thing. If I add a movie to the production and try to enter text beneath the menu link, again within the supplied menu styles, I get nothing. I think this may be a simple setting that I am missing, but..... I did change the display to 16bit vs 32 bit with no apparent change.

Any ideas or assistance??

Thanks

Indeed! I had the same problem but updating video drivers fixed it! But, here's another hint. Go the your video cards' site and carefully read their instructions. I had to UNINSTALL all my NVIDIA drivers before downloading the latest version.

Thanks,

Ron

there are Multipe Issues in Roxio that can just be fixed with a simple driver update. :)

Try get the latest Video card drivers from your manufacturer's website.

Plus try this:

1. Go into MyDVD 8

2. Click the Tools menu.

3. click options from the drop down list.

4. Click Graphics Test

5. This will do a test on your graphics card and the Hardware or Software radio buttons will automatically be filled in according to test results.

6. Click ok.

6. restart MyDVD 8

Thank you to whom it may concern - your suggestion of updating the video drivers worked.
