Umm... this isn't a chat room, and those here aren't working for Roxio. You can't automatically expect a response in "real time."

So, what's changed between the time you had "something" and now, when you have nothing? Have you tried reinstalling or repairing the software? Do you have any messages on the screen, such as, "no signal", and if so, what color is the text for that, Red or Green?

What do you have your PS4 set to for the video output? 1080p? 1080i? 720i/p? Have you double checked that you have the HDCP turned off on your PS4?

The status said no signal in red. And there was a small glitchy green segment on the capture screen. My PS4 has HDCP disabled and I've tried 1080p 1080i and 720p. Even automatic. And the status always said no signal. Sometimes in green and sometimes in red. And when it's red that's when the glitch was on the capture screen. Also no sound is coming out of the computer or TV.

Okay... to start, an "Automatic" video setting is no good as the PS4 won't properly detect the RGC HD Pro, so manually set it to either 1080i or 720p. Double (or triple) check that HDCP is disabled.

The assumption is that if you connect your PS4 directly to your TV with the HDMI cabl, that you get a good image? Please confirm that for us.

Try swapping HDMI cables between the PS4 and the RGC HD Pro.

All the drivers are installed with the software. But, is there any chance you plugged the RGC HD Pro into the USB port prior to installing the software that came with it? If so, Windows tries to install "other" drivers, which screws things up. The solution then is, with the RGC HD Pro plugged into your PC go into Device Manager. Delete the entries for the RGC HD Pro. Reboot. Rerun the installer for the software, and select "Repair" when that appears. Only when that's done should you plug your RGC HD Pro back into the USB port.

Not sure that Everything is being kept up???

It is this simple - Red 'No Signal' means that a valid Signal IS NOT reaching your RGC Device! You can install the software until you wear out the CD and it will make no difference!

Even if you have the HDCP setting left on with your PS4 it will only show a Red 'Signal Protected' if it is a valid signal.

Of course that makes it seem as though the RGC device is faulty AND the ONLY way to test it is to hook up a Valid Signal... Dave mentioned this in Post #9, second paragraph.

That is what you need to do -_-

But weren't you using the Component Cable with the PS3?

The initial introduction of the PS4 as well as the Xbox One were a bit rough but no one has not been able to use them... (the were essentially forced to go to HDMI so HDCP could be added - yet the turn off for valid use was added after intoduction)
