Cant Open Video Editing Software

i have recently reobtained the roxio gamecap studio, but cannot open the video editing software included with it, as the following error message shows up: The current display settings do not meet the minimum requirements for this application. Please change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher, and the color quality to 16-bit or higher.

 

i checked and found that my color quality could not be changed from 32-bit, and that my resolution was 1360 x 768. does anyone know how i would resolve this issue?

I don't have a note on this one, pretty infrequent...

 

"Display" consists of THREE things!

 

Start with Control Panel - Display - Screen Resolution

 

Set it to the 1080 X 768 that is asked for! (you can change it back later)

Click Advanced Settings - Monitor tab:

Set to to 'High Color 16 bit, then back to True Color (32 bit)

(again you can change this later if you want but right now Follow Instructions)

Back to the Display screen click on Make text and other items larger or smaller:

SET it to Smaller - 100%

Apply or OK your way out and Reboot.

 

Should do the trick, but if not come back with details (not a mee too note) and we will play some more

Thanks for the thread. I had the same problem and needed to edit a video ungently so I used an online video editor.

It's called Fastreel, here it is. Do you have any issues with roxio? Maybe we can help you if you describe the problem. My problem was the overfull disc d on pc and my computer was just lagging. But because of the urgency, I didn't have time to resolve that. And I used fastreel. Here is the link.
