Nxt 2 Doesn't Work In Windows 10

Real Chewbacca

Question

Just to confuse everyone a little I cannot get NXT 2 to work on my Toshiba Satellite laptop (running an Intel i3 with 4gb ram) (I keep getting a 'missing registry key' message) after downloading Win 10. However the program works and still burned discs on my PC (runningan Intel i7 with 8gb Ram). I must also add that Win 10 disabled my Bitdefender Antivirus, demolished my Sonicstage software irreparably as it's no longer supported by Sony. I can't download the latest Lexar Image rescue software and it somehow managed to change the settings on the pc so that I could'nt log on to the net or my e-mails even though the tray icon said that I had internet access yet I could still log on with the laptop. Nothing makes sense and I have spent so many hours trying to resolve the issues that 'downgrading!!' to Win 10 has caused and I am sure that I will encounter more problems as time goes by. Microsoft even sets out to confuse even more by showing so many programs as 'unavailable' in the Settings 'App list' yet lots of the programs listed are running and use-able. My suggestion, I wish I had followed myself, is to wait until the free version is ending before 'upgrading' and check out the forums or Google to see if the bugs have all been ironed out. I only have minimal skills with computers, and I'm having mega difficulties, so anyone who expects download fire it up and work with their new win 10 machine will be right in the mire. One final thing, when it crashes it does it with a :-) then it re-starts and then it seems as though it's downloading a load of updates which seems to take forever and it happens regularly and for no obvious reason.
