Dvd Playback Issues

TonyHrudkaj

Question

I use to have a HP laptop with Windows 7. I purchased a copy of Creator 2011 and installed it and the cinaplayer worked fine. When I upgraded to Windows 8.1 the player started acting goofy. It would start with a green screen and throughout the movie I have green and pink blocks pop up randomly across the screen. I have since purchased a Dell Inspiron15-3537 with an i3 Core and then installed Windows 10. Same problem. I upgraded to Creator NXT Pro3, yet the problem continues. The laptop came with Cyberlink PowerDVD12 and the DVD's play with no issues. Help please.

Creator 2011 had CinePlayer; NXT Pro has a modified version of Corel's Win DVD (I think). If you have having issues, perhaps there is a issue with the minimum requirements of your new computer and other programs running in the background.

Please follow these directions and post your dxdiag.exe evaluation of your computer (text file only). What else do you have running at the same time? I3 CPUs are not very good when it comes to video. If you have a lot of background applications running I can believe that it is an equipment limitation especially if one of those is an antivirus. Are the video drivers up to date on your computer?
