Easy Cd/dvd Burning-Esd Curious Quirk

Hal E

Question

I like my new Easy CD/DVD Burning-ESD software, but here's something strange.

In DVD players 5 years old or younger, the copies run smoothly. If a player is 6 years or older, no matter what the brand, each burned disc freezes for a few seconds exactly at the 24 minute 13 second spot, then starts again.

Why would every disc do this? Is there something I can do to avoid this? (Again, it's not serious, and doesn't happen in most players).

Finally got one burned and tested but no glitch to be found in either video or audio...

Back to media. Several years ago one of the versions of (ver 6?) had an SP release that was to improve compatibility of DVD - media.

Of course that was included in all subsequent versions, however, it does indicate that there was an issue with media as much as 10 years ago. Sorry I could not locate the issue now back to the attic.
