Suffering A Few Issues

Andrew Eden-Balfour

Yeah, it appears as though for some reason my Roxio Game Capture Pro HD is now deciding to go ghost on me, which is weird because I haven't had any problems with it back when I last used it in September. Here are the problems.

Whenever I start up the program, I always get the unknown capture error sign. So right off the bat I am unable to do anything, and it appears as though there are no input options available for some strange reason.

The second problem I am facing is that sound is no longer coming out of my TV, despite there being visual. Here's the weird thing though, this problem only seems to be effecting whenever I hook up the Wii U, as the other systems that use HDMI seem to be working fine.

Any idea what is causing these problems?

You will need an Unknown Fix  (sorry)

Try a proper repair:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows) Let this go for now...

When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Interesting, after 3 years, never seen or heard of that one

Guessing that is at the Laptop Level... any interruption in the signal results in a red 'No Signal' status.

Laptops have two issues:

1.Running of internal battery

2.Lack of power on some USB Ports

Check both! (usb by trying all you got)

Edit: just noticed in your first picture you are using MP4 for your Settings - DON'T! it doesn't work right so keep it on MTS
