Hello,

 

Can anyone tell me how long NXT Pro 4 takes to install? I have Creator 2012 Pro and it takes a long time to install. Can anyone give me an idea if this installs any faster (Note: I'm speaking of the physical product, not a download).

 

Question 2: For those of you purchasing the product...is this version of the program any better than a version that's a few years old? I'm trying to decide whether to purchase it or not.

I cannot recommend NXT 4 since it has been downgraded even from NXT 3. The replacement of myDVD module with a completely different myDVD is a big mistake

 

I consider C2012 to be one of the best Creator versions. How long does it take you to install? Whether from a download or from a DVD, the install will take about the same time.

NXT 4 takes a while to install. Can't compare it with Creator 2012 because it was a long while since I last installed that.

 

I'd stick with Creator 2012 for as long as you can. It has many more capabilities.

Thanks for the recommendations. I don't install it too often, but off the top of my head, Creator 2012 Pro takes at least a half a hour to install.

The time it takes depends on your machine, but I still think it's well worth it.

Sir, I feel Roxio is a cheater company. Because, Firstly I purchased Roxio Creator 2012. Then Roxio was boasting of about NXT Pro4. I purchased that for about 100 dollars. Unfortunately my computer "C" gets corrupt due to sweeping of C by some cleaners and registry errors, hence, I am compelled to re-install NXT Pro4 occasionally whenever my C got corrupt. I always tried to re-install only on one Computer since I have only one computer Windows 10 Pro. Now, while re-installing NXT Pro4, ROXIO says that the key was used number of times and asks me to purchase Roxio NXT Pro 5 again for another 100 dollars. It is nothing but looting in broad day-light. Now I regreat that ROXIO is a money looter. Now my Roxio Creator 2012 and Roxio NXT Pro4 are a mere waste and I cannot re-install them. Roxio always asks to purchase new versions and do not allow even purchased versions if we frequently re-install for Computer problems.

 

Whereas softwares like Sony Vegas Pro 12, they give lifelong service. Once purchased, re-install any number of times on the original computer recognised by them or on any only one computer, any number of times whenever the "C" of the software itself gets corrupt. That is why I think ROXIO is only a money making company, not worried about its valid customers. ROXIO is a thief company ® thief company that loots and loots its customers. I am a poor man and I wish to use only one software for my life without any fresh upgrades which cost more. But ROXIO does not allow that and carry one looting repeat looting its customers.

You have not had the best experience!

 

You should consider a refund. First at your place of purchase or from Roxio.

 

Roxio has taken some recent steps that no one likes! The Install Count limit as well as removal of many of the best features

(if you choose Repair it is not counted as an Install )

 

I am a little confused as to what you think is 'corrupting' your HDD?

 

Along with that, why can't you reinstall Creator 2012?
