Ripping A Dvd Using Roxio Nxt

Veets

Question

Hi,

I had a service create an instructional DVD on playing guitar and wanted to have one scene ripped so that I can have this scene put up on a music website. I have Roxio NXT and tried Edit Video Advanced. I keep getting an error message that says the program is not working. Is this the right program for ripping the scene or do I need to do something different? I am on Windows 10. Thanks!!!

Hello,

These are the Roxio products that Corel says are "ready for Windows 10"

Roxio Creator NXT3

Roxio Creator NXT 3 Pro

Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning

Roxio Easy LP to MP3

Roxio Game Capture

Roxio Game Capture HD Pro

Roxio MyDVD

Roxio RecordNow 10

Roxio Secure Burn Enterprise

Roxio Video Copy & Convert

The full list can be seen here. I'm afraid it doesn't seem that your Roxio NXT is on the list. :(

Regards,

Brendon

You never answered what Roxio Version your running on W-10?

Put the disc in a drive open it and highlight the contents then right click copy.

Make a new folder on your hard drive open it right click paste.

Does it copy the DVD to the folder?

Hi,

Sorry, I checked Help and About and it has:

Roxio Creator NXT

Version number is 14.0.36.0;5.0.0.0

Build 140B36A, R03; 701B17A, R03

I just right clicked on it and was able to copy and paste the DVD into its folder.

Thanks!

That could be because NXT isn't W-10 compatible?

Put your software disc in a drive and run repair when offered. If videowave won't run then you know why!

If it does, open it in videowave (edit video advanced) and cut out the section you want then output, export as. to a format you want.
