Issue With Roxio Video

Question

My Roxio has a glitch where my videos look like this:http://imgur.com/0xuUmGh where it should look like this:http://kotaku.com/5965398/1069-people-are-playing-black-ops-ii-online-on-wii-u-now . My videos have that flashing pinkish color across the screen where it should be solid black. My Xbox and Roxio are both on 720p and I don't know what's wrong. I've tried messing with the quality and the bitrate but no luck.

I don't see any difference in those - posting an actual screen cap would have been far better!!! info HERE

You did not say if the problem is in your Preview Pane - the Capture file or the Monitor/TV

Post the pics and the details and we will have enough to go with ;)

Here are pictures of my preview pane (not the problem) and when I try to watch the videos when I save them (pixelated in bottom right corner and tinted pink). When I use VideoWave the video looks normal when I export it but is blurry, and if I use programs like movie maker the video looks pixelated. Hope this is enough info! Thanks

Thanks!

So then what are your Export As settings?

Try Same as Original if it is presented...

Do you have the NXT 3 or 4 Suite? If so, try the VideoWave in that one.

Also, the problem is with my monitor because the files look normal on other monitors

Bingo! But strange...

We have had a few users with this issue and never found a solution past, 'replace monitor'... :(

New problem: I started using an hdmi splitter so I can record and play on a single monitor. The only problem is the my preview pane shows a zoomed in image of the screen. Compare this to my other screenshots

Curious question, what was the bitrate you used and the specs of your computer?

Also, I've observed that it's normal to have those pink flashy lines whenever you're not recording and letting the program go idle. Something is only truly wrong when it appears when you're recording.

at this point I know my monitor is the issue, but I can just use another to edit videos. However, I do need to solve the problem where the preview pane is zoomed in. I have an acer aspire with radeon 3600 graphics card.

Again, make sure your Xbox output is SET to a specific output and not on auto sensing. It may help to reboot the Xbox too.

Sorry, I don't have one... I have a note for the Xbox One settings - go to display (resolution and TV connection)

I'll be it is the same or close to it ;)
