Black And White Screen

I'm currently trying to capture my older consoles that only have Yellow/Red/White output. When I try to capture them it comes out in black and white instead of color. What am I doing wrong?

It isn't going to work with the composite cables that you are using. You need to use component cables.

If all your console has available is Composite (yellow) video output, you'll need to find a Composite-to-Component converter, and they're not easy to find. It's actually easier to find Composite-to-HDMI converters, but if you have the Game Capture for Consoles, not the HD Pro version, then you can't use an HDMI input. Alternatively, you could use the device that comes with the Easy VHS to DVD package to capture your game play. It has no streaming option, but you didn't indicate if you're trying to stream your game play, or simply capture and post later.

As Dave mentioned, the Easy VHS to DVD package is cheaper if bought new and cheaper yet if you shop around

 

It only accepts Composite or S-Video and produces mpeg files which you can burn as a DVD Movie or just keep around as a file.
