Dankert
As the software is not on the Win 10 list what makes you think it would run? List, HERE http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/software_updates/default.html says it differently. "Easy VHS to DVD 3 (Windows 10 compatibility)" it states. Anyway, WinDbg claims that emBDA64.sys probably caused the BSOD.
Jim_Hardin
Nice work! I had forgotten about that one, but made a note! It is a little extensive but I would suggest this way: Unplug your Roxio Capture Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.Download and install the Revo Uninstaller. Then run it in Moderate Mode to remove any traces of Roxio. Then turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.Now insert your Roxio Disc.Don't accept the offer to Check for Updates - we'll do this laterWhen the Install completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot. Now apply the Win 10 update and reboot again. See what that does.
