Problem Dv Film To Pc With Roxio Capiture Hd Pro

Hello

Can you help me
When i use Roxio Capiture HD PRO betwen my DV camera analog in and my PC input whith USB whith program Roxio Capiture HD PRO

Its been black and White film on the pc
I test to move the cable and i use this cable before whit an other program and its ok

What capture device do you have? You say you have Roxio Capture HD Pro (which is a device for capturing game play from consoles) but state you are trying to capture from your analog DV camera.

 

Could you please clarify exactly what you have and how you are hooked up?

That is a good video!

 

But what he Did Not say was that if you use Composite signals with a Component device like the RGC all you can get is grainy Black & White...

 

To get color, you are going to need a device that accepts the output your camcorder can produce - Composite or S-Video.

 

There are plenty and pretty cheap if you shop around. Just make sure you get the software intended for the device as most only work with what the manufacture provides ;)

If you look closely at the 4.25 point in the YouTube video, that sure looks like Black & White. I don't see any color.

 

The Roxio unit's Green Component in jack does not work with the Composite Yellow (you get a Black and White picture).

 

Not all component (green) jacks, support Composite Yellow. Here is a picture of how they look if they do.
