Local Network Streaming

Question

dear sir will you pleas tell me Roxio Game Capture HD PRO is stream only on youtube and twitch.tv and have no other way to streem

i want stream on local area network we do not have hi-speed internet so what i do for it ... ?

Zia, I think you will need your own streaming server on your network. Or, you'd have to capture your game play first, and then use something like VLC which apparently has capabilities to stream over a local network. I found that out by Googling, "stream on local network". Let Google be your friend. I don't think you can do what you want, live stream on a local network, without having a streaming server hooked up. And then I don't think the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro will talk to it. You'll need some other software in between.

 

I'll gladly be proven wrong. Hopefully someone else will jump in here and add their thoughts.

 

Here's another thread (link) talking about doing what you want, only they're using even different hardware too...
