Usb Capture Device Quit

My Roxio USB capture device quit working this is my second one to quit. They have quit selling the hardware on the web sight by itself. Have been looking on Amazon but found comments about the software not recognizing the hardware. Just looking for some suggestions on the best way to go. I do not want to buy more software just to get the hardware, I am using NXT Pro.

This not a game capture I am using it for audio and vhs. I get no out put I have tried it on a laptop and a tower on Vista, Windows 8 and 10. The program sees the device but I get no signal. I have converted about 100 cassettes and about 25 vhs. I am just looking for the replacement hard ware.

With the USB Capture Device plugged into a working USB Port on your PC open Device Manager and expand Sound, video and game controller, also other devices if you show that entry. Now take a screen capture and post the .jpg image in a reply post for us to see if the correct drivers are loaded for the device?

here is what got no idea why it shows two devices. The first drivers are for the first device shown.

Try different cables and different USB ports, and I would disable the HP Web Cam.

 

If it doesn't work then the USB Capture Device would seem to be broken.

What does "quit working" mean? Any error message, screen shot? You have not supplied much information
