Amy Shatzen 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2016 How do I create my own background behind a photo, if I don't want to use any of the overlays that NXT comes with?
0 bimicher 132 Report post Posted February 4, 2016 Are you working in Videowave or myDVD? Not much information in your post what you are trying to do or what you are doing. What overlays and where?
0 Amy Shatzen 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2016 I'm working in Videowave. I don't always want to crop photos to fill the screen, and I'd like to incorporate something more interesting than just black bars on either side of the photo. Thanks for your quick reply! 0 bimicher 132 Report post Posted February 4, 2016 Add whatever it is you want to use (can be a photo or a video) to main track. Then add your photo to an overlay track (could be the internal track). You can then adjust the size of this photo as well as apply effects to it such as fade in/out, sliding in and out, etc.
0 karri 13 Report post Posted February 5, 2016 (edited) In addition to what Walt posted, you can also set a background color, gradient, or image as a background for your production in VW. This method, unlike Walt's, will not let you add more than one; it will show up through your entire production. Go to File > Production Settings > Background Fill > choose Solid, gradient or image (Browse for image) Edited February 5, 2016 by karri
