Resolution: The error is usually caused by corrupted DirectX installation and can be fixed by reinstalling DirectX by visiting the Microsoft page below.

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Corels link to Microsoft DirectX is dead and is a W-10 upgrade page.

Post your Windows operating system and x86 x64?

I will try and find you a working link.

Uncheck the extras Microsoft wants to bundle with the download!

I just did System File Checker tool in command prompt

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

This means that you do not have any missing or corrupted system files.

The System File Checker only checks core Windows files. Microsoft's DirectX is not a core Windows system, but is an add-on.

CDANTEEK has noted that the old Microsoft link to get a fresh copy of DirectX is dead, and he is trying to find an intact link for you to download a fresh copy.

Wait for him to come back with a link that works (if there is one), and then you can download and install a fresh DirectX.
