Automaticly Stop Recording Vhs After One Second

piffen

Question

Hello

I recently bought easy VHS to DVD 3 to be able to record my old VHS tapes to my computer. It worked fine with the first tape, but now when I trie to record the recording will stop after one second of recording. So do anyone have a solution to this? BTW there is no problem when I play the VHS without recording it and I have tried to set an recording length.

There is likely something wrong with the tape at that point...

Try another tape or two. Some users have found that the EVD is very sensitive to any interrupt or 'noise' on a tape. When it sees that, it sees it as end of tape and stops.

You should be using the Record - Edit - Save part of the program and Never the Record DVD. (reason? one glitch and you lose a dvd)

Let us know ;)

I'm experiencing a similar issue. The software automatically stops recording the input soon after it starts. I've tried using different tapes as the previous response suggests and like the original poster there doesn't appear to be anything wrong when playing the tape. I've managed to record from 8 similar tapes and this has happened occasionally and temporarily during those projects but usually a restart and cable connection check will get it back up and running. Not no more. Do you have any further suggestions?
