There are AVCHD DVDs that are normal DVD with high definition video burned on it. They are limited to about 40 minutes of video time. They must be played with a Blu ray player. Are you trying to make a blu ray? Do you mean that you are starting with high definition video and want to make a standard DVD? How much video time are you trying to put on a standard DVD? Please provide much more information concerning source of the files, your computer (dxdiag.exe), what program are you trying to use in the suite of programs, and what is your desired output. By the way, use a computer and not a cell phone to use this forum. Are any of the movies copy protected? With that error message, I believe that you have an error with Windows or your burner. The dxdiag.exe (instructions) should tell us something. Also search on your computer for "Event Viewer" and look for errors listed there. If you clcik on the linewhere you have the error, the window will tell you (us) more.

Try making an ISO file when you go to burn. If the ISO is created, then use the "Burn Iso to Disc" option on the Home page. Is this the error you are seeing (link)? It shows up from time to time in different versions.
d_deweywright
Another option is to burn to a Folder Set. On an HD Project I was doing, I had a problem where it was failing at the end of rendering. I finally changed the output to be Blu-Ray, which worked fine. A Blu-Ray and AVCHD folder set are very similar. The main difference is that the Blu-Ray folder set has a few more things than the AVCHD. So looking through a different AVCHD project that rendered okay, I figured out which folders were "extra" for an AVCHD disc, removed them, burned that folder set to DVD, and it worked fine in a BR Player.
