Cant Record With Mp4 Format Anymore

Hi Community,

 

normally i record with mp4 format, but lately (since 1-2 months) i cant record any clips with mp4 format anymore. While recording in mp4 i see how a new file appears in my recording folder, i stop the recording and i see how the file just disappears. Why does the software cant save the mp4 clip normally? I can record in m2ts format, but while editing the audio is off and i dont want to render every single clip into a low qualitiy clip. I also tryed to reinstalle it, but no differenc.

I thought everyone knows that MP4 doesn't work

 

Record as m2ts and convert it later.

Rendering to MP4 shouldn't result in a loss of quality as long as your output settings match what's coming in.
