cdanteek
Can Creator NXT 4 compress a 7.5Gb dvd to a 4.7Gb dvd or do I have to use DVD Shrink. I have a non copy protected DVD that I would like to copy to a 4.7Gb DVD I would use Shrink, variable bit rate versus Roxio's constant bit rate, you will get better quality video. J Nolen
How do you use Roxio Creator NXT 4 to compress a DVD? I don't see any settings for this.
cdanteek
MyDVD in NXT 4 is a dumbed down version from previous versions. I'm not booted to that image to check. Previous versions you load it in, set the quality, and it does it. I gave you the best answer use Shrink.
bimicher
Can Creator NXT 4 compress a 7.5Gb dvd to a 4.7Gb dvd or do I have to use DVD Shrink. I have a non copy protected DVD that I would like to copy to a 4.7Gb DVD Why do you want to compress the 7.5GB DVD? How large is the actual Video_TS folder on that 4.7GB DVD? Just because it is a 7.5GB (DL) DVD, does not necessarily mean that the file is that large. You could of course split the video over two 4.7GB DVDs and reatin the quality.
