Jay G.
Ive spent hours trying to resolve this problem... The disk will not load via the cdrom.. I bought another cdrom and still the problem exists.. The cdrom will load other programs but not VHS to DVD3 plus.. I tried loading this program on my xp computer and had little or no difficulty, but that computer is old and slow and does have the USB2 abilities.. Before I request a refund I would like to give this a little more time at fixing what ever may be wrong. Any help is appreciated from Corel?? My operating system is Windows 10-home version 64bit Mt Computer is a Dell Inspirion 1545 Plenty of hard drive space 500gegs Plenty of Ram---8gegs Intel Core Quad Cpu Q6600 @2.4ghz CDrom-GSA-H73N ATA Display --AMD Radeon HD5700 I think that should cover the basics... The cdrom will burn cd's and dvds and play dvd movies BUT will not let me open or install THIS program... Before I decide to purchase a vhs to dvd player/recorder,I would really like to gt this operating, otherwise I have to return your product for a refund. I did some research before my purchase and saw a lot of issues but went ahead and took the chance.. Please Help... Thank you in advance.. Jay G. what does the cd do when I insert it in the cdrom?? It spins a little and stops and spins a little more and stops then finally pretty much just goes idle...
sknis
Did you try to copy the DVD to your computer and install from there? Why do you think it is a cdrom? Does you computer read DVDs?

So, you've basically proven that the disc is okay because it installed on your XP machine okay. When you say the XP machine "does have the USB2 abilities" did you really mean it doesn't have those capabilities? Does it have any USB ports at all? If so, you could use that machine to copy the contents of the disc to a USB thumb drive, and then install onto your Windows 10 machine from the thumb drive. Also, if you insert the disc into your Windows 10 machine, and then look at the contents of that drive using Windows Explorer, what does it show you? And it's not "our" program, as we're simply users like yourself, we're not working for Roxio/Corel.
