Video Capture Crashes

Question

I'm trying to rip a dvd to my computer (one that I recorded) and when I choose "Video Capture" then switch to my dvd burner the program crashes and says "Roxio Media Capture has stopped working." This started happening a few nights ago with NXT Pro and even though I upgraded to NXT Pro 4, I'm still having the same problem. Here are the problem details :

I'm wondering if I still have 'bits' of NXT in my registry? I allowed NXT 4 to uninstall the program.

Thank you. I just tried a different DVD and it worked, so it must be the dvd.

So you know the number of Installs is limited to 10 but can be reset. However the number of 'Repairs' does not count ;)

So let's try that firlst!

Turn off anti virus and any other running programs.

Start an Install of NXT4 (skip the updates part)

Choose Repair when offered.

Reboot at end.

Try it again AND try adding it to other programs within the Suite (VideoWave & MyDVD) - choose Add and select an xxx.VOB file from the VIDEO_TS folder on the disc.

If all fail - it is your disc!
