Missing Upgrade Or Wrongly Packaged Cd?

Hi guys,

Today I purchased a boxed copy of EasyVHS to DVD3Plus. Note, clearly labelled "plus". Only to discover the install CD was the standard but not the Plus version. I could not find any upgrade link in the menu in spite of what the manual directed.

Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this? I bought the box for the Plus version and it is clearly marked Plus.

How do you know?

 

When you run the program do you see the work Plus at the top?

 

If not, message (upper right here) Rox_Ralf and let him know.

If you installed it, you can find out for sure Go to the top menu and select Help/About and you should get this pop up Window:

Hi again,

The problem solved itself within the program load it appears. Initially neither the help about or title bar showed "Plus" nor were the advanced options available. But on the third start of the program suddenly the Plus appeared in the help about, title bar and the advanced elements were there. The program also was incredibly slow and clunky on the first couple of starts. But now it is very fast and smooth. I suspect some issue in the registry settings/paths/resources was causing a problem here. I had already installed the WIN10 patch on installation for my main amchine and I noticed that on a WIN7 machine I have here, this issue did not occur. It showed up as Plus and ran well from the installation on the WIN7 machine. Must be some registry issue to do with WIN10 and or the patch that sorted itself. However the program is great now. Thanks for your attention guys.

It would appear that you have some problems on your computer. Hopefully, all is okay with the software now.
