Can't Import Dvds (Split From A Hijacked Topic)

Jim 23

Question

I bought Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning (Build 104B04A) a year or two ago from Fry's and used it on my pc with a Windows 7 OS. I was able to successfully import 3 DVD's yesterday to my flash drive but on the 4th one, I selected the movie to import, chose where to save it and what the file name should be and hit import, but no luck this time. All it will do is import empty files with no data. I tried closing it out and restarting the program, using other DVD's I want to import, etc, but nothing works. I did confirm that each of the discs have Video.TS files on them so they should be readable. One of the files I tried to import was on the same DVD I was successful in copying files from the same day. Is there anything you can suggest?

Jim 23,

When using Easy CD & DVD Burning the term "Import" is used to Import/Capture media from a device into MyDVD, or to 'import' old project files which are too old to "open" in MyDVD.

You're talking about 'importing' DVDs to your flash drive, but that doesn't fit either of the definitions above. I'd like to help with your problem, so would you please explain:

-what you mean by "importing a DVD" to your flash drive

-which program in the Roxio suite you use to do this, and

-how you do it when it works properly for you.

Once we get onto the same page we should be able to sort out your problem for you.

Regards,

Brendon
