Crash When Outputing Video

Steve76063

Question

So...I fired up my VideoWave (part of NXT Pro 4), and pulled in a video from my camera (.MTS). I then tried to convert/output it as an mp4 file, and VideoWave crashed!

This was on my Win7-64 machine-I tried the same thing on my Win10 machine, and it works (it's just very inconvenient to have to switch mahcines).

Any ideas on where to look for issues?

The last version of EMC was EMC 10. After that came Creator 2009, Creator 2010, Creator 2011, and Creator 2012. [Then the NXTs]

Perhaps we should quit while we're ahead, and just say you updated from "an earlier version" ??

2 possible solutions regardless of version: Repair or pre-convert in that order.

Repair: First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Don’t do any updates at this time (get it running first)

When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Pre-convert: use a third party program like Any Video Converter - HERE before you tinker in Roxio.
