Trying To Copy Movie On Toast 14 And Toast 15

Question

HI PLEASE NEED HELP HAVING PROBLEMS OF COPYING MOVIE ON DVD WHEN IT TIME TO START ENCODING ITS CLOSES THE APPLICATION SHUTS DOWN AND IT COMES WITH PROBLEM REPORT FOR TOAST TITANIUM 15

 

ON THE FOR REPORT IT SAYS"

 

EXCEPTION TYPE: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

EXCEPTION CODES: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000000

 

 

PLEASE MAY I HAVE ASSISTANCE WITH THIS PROBLEM THANKS

There are MAC Product forums here but they are specific product related so this might be the 'best' area to post ;)

 

Are you using both (14 & 15) on the same machine?

 

If you are trying to copy a Commercial DVD it isn't going to work.

 

Is this with every DVD you try to copy, including ones that you have made?

 

At the moment we do not have anyone learned in MAC but will try to adapt :lol:

EXC_BAD_ACCESS is a very broad reason and it means that the application tried to access an “object” which wasn't there anymore (common memory management error).

 

It can be a conflict with some other software, 3rd party “enhancement” software (system plugins) in particular, if you rule out Apple Mac OS X programmers and the Roxio Toast team as the source for applications with bad memory management.
I can't read full crash logs (if you have that or can re-create that) to pinpoint it a specific issue, but someone else might?
